Teamwork is more readily obvious in organizations at lower levels due to the simple expediency of getting the job done and going home. All are working for the same goal, regardless of experience or pay scale. Higher levels in organizations, contrarily, exhibit behavior of a far more competitive nature, which in many cases is either openly or covertly supported by the organization itself, in the belief that such an environment will cause the cream to rise to the top. In all cases, such an environment is justified by those at the top of the organization with the mandate of cashing out to the maximum while it is their turn at the wheel. It seems fairly obvious that none of these brainstormers is focused a whole lot on the future. When you think about it that way it is a wonder that things get done at all. Nor do present circumstances seem surprising.
